The new design transformed the courtyard with walking loops, a three-hole putting green, a granite dust surface Bocci court, a new shade porch, and plantings to create a new outdoor interactive Activities of Daily Life therapeutic landscape. The court provides an inviting space for patients, family, visitors and staff to socialize and decompress in an intimate garden setting. Plant beds were raised to increase soil depth above the capped soil remediation project, and large sections of concrete culvert were buried to provide soil depth sufficient for tree root balls.
