LWDA prepared a master plan of the New England Rehabilitation Hospital, a comprehensive rehabilitation hospital that offers the continuum of acute medical rehabilitation services with twelve general and twelve specialty inpatient and outpatient programs. The master plan recommended the reconfiguration of the entire site to create a new public drop-off and reorganization of public realm on the first floor, addition of therapeutic patios and courtyards, expansion of the food service area, conversion of the semi-private patient rooms into private, renovation and addition of rehabilitation gyms, and other improvements throughout.

Following development of the master plan, LWDA completed major implementation projects.
