Following the completion of design and construction of a new entrance drop off to the rehabilitation hospital, LWDA developed landscape improvement ideas for the center entrance island. Sculptural displays, walking paths and naturalistic plantings were all investigated during the design exercise. The selected design concept, based on the idea of creating a large community space, was determined to be the best way to integrate the series of accessible walking loops produced during the entrance design.
