To better serve its physically challenged long-term care residents and to expand its short-term rehabilitation options, Spaulding Rehabilitation Network consolidated two outmoded facilities into the Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center Brighton. This renovated long-term care site features ample physical and occupational therapy space, accessible toilets and bathing, inviting and comfortable resident spaces, and the full complement of administration and support spaces. 

LWDA’s design scope included substantial interior reconfiguration, interior design, window and roof replacement, structural modifications, extensive HVAC, lighting, and IT upgrades, as well as modifications to power, plumbing, and fire protection systems.  A new medical gasses distribution infrastructure was added for future respiratory supported residents.
