Upon completion of a master plan for BRH, LWDA  undertook various implementation projects that included new entry and lobby and associated site improvements, renovations to four 30-bed inpatient rehabilitation units, and upgrades and redevelopment of outpatient clinic, PT/OT clinic, and registration. The existing lobby was redesigned to create a new image for the hospital and facilitate interactions among doctors, nurses, administrators, and patients. Wood paneling, indirect lighting, and carpeting establish a calm and positive environment for healing.
